Commentary: By 2006 the market has become much more interconnected, with many new players from the technology sectors. Microsoft sustains its central role, Apple has become more prominent. New media companies like Yahoo!, Google and e-bay are becoming more prominent. Time Warner has created new or stronger relationships with Microsoft, Google and CBS. AT&T has become less central, with the telecommunications companies now becoming more peripheral.
